Day Eighty
March 21, 2010Day Seventy-nine
March 20, 2010Today was an exciting and exhausting day. I attended Photocamp Utah, which was an all day photography convention, held here in Sandy Utah. It started bright and early at 8 a.m. and was done around 6:30pm. There were several exciting and informative classes, but my favorite, and whole reason for even going, was the keynote speaker, Zack Arias. He is one of my idols in the photography world and it was a pleasure to hear his honest opinion about what it takes to be a successful photographer. He is one of the most passionate people I know in the field and I’m excited to start implementing some of the things he said into my own life and work.

March 14, 2010Today was a nice long sunday, filled with family and fun. We all got together for my little brother’s mission farewell. He is leaving for the MTC a week from Wednesday. He gave an awesome talk and we are all proud of him.
My wife is going to kill me for this picture. Like most women she hates having her picture taken but even more so when she is pregnant. I think she is beautiful and am proud to show her off. Besides beauty I think she is smart, creative and a great mother. Taryn I love you so please don’t kill me for posting a picture of you on my blog.
P.S. I’m not saying this because I’m in trouble or anything, I just think it needed to be said.
Day Seventy-two
March 13, 2010Day Seventy-One
March 12, 2010This one isn’t my wife’s favorite, and true it isn’t very pretty, but let me explain why I like it. I like the frame within a frame, and I also like the bokeh all over the background. It seems like a very busy picture but then I see the man’s face and it is very calm and steady. I’m not sure if that is what juxtaposition means but that’s what I’m calling it.
