Day Thirty-five

February 4, 2010

These post’s are getting more and more difficult. I sit and stress all day long thinking about what I want to take a picture of. Then I get frustrated when I look at other photographers post’s and their photos look so effortless, yet so inspiring. Many times, the pictures tell great stories. Today, as I was brainstorming, I had the idea to focus on myself more, and not just things I see. I wanted to express some of my passions. I love my children, and I have posted some pictures of them already and expect to post many more. I would post some of my wife but she has yet to approve one. So what are some of my other passions. I have always loved music, and most of my childhood memories involved music in one way or another. I remember going down in the basement and sitting next to my dad with a stack of old records and just being enveloped in music. His passion for music has been passed on to me, and for some reason I am still affected by the nostalgia of records. I walked past this old record shop downtown and had to get a picture. After spending sometime in that store, I decided I am going to my parent’s house and “borrowing” their turntable.
