Day Ninety-six
April 6, 2010Day Nineteen
January 19, 2010Yeah its sushi again…. Jealous?
Going to Ginza and sitting at the sushi bar, is like having your own personal sushi chef. We ordered two rolls and then asked Chef Tetsu to create two rolls not on the menu. Here is a picture of our new favorite roll. He said it doesn’t have a name, so we are calling it Tetsu.
I would love to go on and on about how much I love sushi, but I have two minutes till this post is late.
Day Five
January 5, 2010I love sushi. If you say you don’t, that put’s you into one of three categories. 1 You have never tried it. 2 You haven’t tried good sushi. 3 you love it, but are too prideful to admit it. I was introduced to sushi through Coscto’s sushi platter. I instantly hated sushi. placing me in category number 2. Then one day my wife’s uncle took me out to lunch to a little sushi place downtown called Ginza. I was hesitant, but since I was trying to make a good impression I acted excited. This uncle went to Japan on his mission and assured me it would be the best sushi I have ever had. In my mind I was thinking, “It better be otherwise I’ll be spewing all over the place and embarrassing myself.” Thankfully he was right. It was amazing. Ever since that day I have been addicted to it and have been on a mission to convert every non-sushi lover into a true believer such as myself. Ginza has since opened a location in Draper, and does half-off rolls every Tuesday and Wednesday night. The best roll is the Manzania for sure. But we like to try new things so this time we asked for something new and off the menu. This is what they came up with. As you would expect, it didn’t disappoint.
